Membership Drive is now open until Feb 28th, 2022
Membership in CIU has many benefits including finding your place within a network of your peers, industry leaders, and our service partners. Continuing education and upgrading your professional skills has never been more important than it is today.
We will be holding the 2022 AGM in person at the Delta, Downtown Toronto with an outstanding lineup of speakers, so don’t miss out!
Members, please review and if required update your CIU Membership profile on the new CIU Member Directory. Updates to your contact information can be submitted if needed via the self-submit form. Additional CIU Membership info, or answers to many member FAQs, can be found on www.ciu.ca.
As previously announced, in the new year, all CIU members will be able to access their profiles and make changes directly, and also access OTR Online directly from CIU.ca. Details and site access steps will be communicated after the membership drive.
Membership renewal steps: In the coming weeks:
Members within large firms: CIU will contact forward each company representative with their listing to process a group membership & payment renewal.
Independent or consulting members, CIU will send a renewal request individually to each member.
Honorary members: are exempt from paying dues.
Membership fee
Payments of $130.00 CDN per member annual fees must be received by no later than Feb 28th, 2022. Payment methods via emailed invoice include:
Electronic Fund Transfers (CIUcommittee@gmail.com) - up to C$2999
Direct Wire Transfer for amounts C$3000 and above
Credit Card (a 3% service charge applies)
It has been another challenging year to be sure and so being a member of CIU keeps you connected to your industry’s network and will enable you to continue to develop your professional underwriting skills through the offerings of some great online and in-person education.
As our industry pivots to implement many changes in keeping pace with recent challenges to the way we do business, it bears repeating: There truly is no better time to belong to your underwriting association!
